Blacksburg Refugee Partnership provides help and hope for refugees rebuilding their lives in southwest Virginia.

We provide help and hope for refugees rebuilding their lives

Blacksburg Refugee Partnership (BRP) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to helping refugee families integrate into American society by providing housing, education, healthcare, and employment support.

Our Team

Currently, over 65 million people are displaced worldwide, the highest number since World War II. Hokie Refugee Outreach is collaborating with the Blacksburg Refugee Partnership to offer a firsthand experience of what it’s like to be a refugee in a foreign country. Our mission is to raise awareness about the refugee experience and engage those who are interested in helping those in need.

Deliverables and Objective

  3. Develop a checklist of available resources and identify what is still needed for the project.

  4. Reach out to the necessary resources to ensure successful project execution, along with an event timeline.

  5. Raise awareness through marketing strategies and fundraiser.

  6. Hold a final meeting to review and discuss the outcomes of the event.
